 SILT Workshop Principles

As women we are told to stand our ground, to neither exaggerate nor shrink our presence. But most of us are struggling to understand what being courageous in the work place truly looks like. What if we could create a diverse team of working women to transform and heal with. What if we could work to create a new office culture that better reflects us living our best lives? It’s time we start thinking big and assuming we have all the time and space we need to create the world we want.

 

a worker-centered approach

There are three issues most workplaces suffer from: patriarchy/heteronormativity, the toxic competitive work model and racism. Tackle them all with the same workshop.

 

No to scarcity mindset!

SILT is there to provide the space, suggest starter strategies and facilitate your journey.

 

using Healing practices to create new office culture

Our journey entails individual and communal healing from trauma, allowing your working community to set up new boundaries with each other towards a more sustainable office culture.

 

couraging Amplified through sisterhood

SILT facilitates your teams somatic journey in “couraging” and we do so partially by creating your “squad.” Imagine a workplace where your squad amplifies your opinions and innovations in the boardroom, where “asks” are demanded as a team and holding power accountable happens while you are surrounded by sisters.

Workshop for Corporations

We begin with a 2.5-day training followed by 3 monthly 2-hr debriefs. We recommend at least 3 debriefs following the 2.5-day training.

The debriefs are provided so the team is given an opportunity to assess and tweak the strategies they came up with during the main 2.5-day training and are administered on campus as a long lunch break.
